Why create such a forum?

Several reason's have lead me to create this forum but the biggest is the over moderation and censorship on previous forums that I have visited has inspired to to create a forum solely about today's politics. Today's politics are more controversial than they ever have been and …

The Rules here are very simple

-Swearing is allowed but it has to be appropriate and NO F-bombs and other grossly vulgar words

Elk in the crock pot:

I had a large, old 6pt. bull, rump roast that had been in the freezer for about 1.5 years, and I wasn't sure that it would cook up very well. It didn’t have any freezer burn, so I threw it in the crock pot on low for the entire day. The recipe was very simple. Someone, I can't remember who, on the UWN said to just add soy sauce, but I decided to toss in a few other tasty items.

Add to crock:

½ cup of water
½ package of Lipton beefy onion soup.
1 chopped onion
¼ cup of soy sauce
1 giant splash of Worcestershire Sauce

Just let it simmer on low for about 8 hours. I pulled the meat and made some sandwiches on sourdough bread with some cheese.

It was melt in your mouth good, and the meat was so tender that it could be cut with a dull Popsicle stick. I like back straps on the grill; although, from here on out I’m going to do everything in the crock pot.

If you’ve never cooked your elk in a similar way, then you are missing out on one of the best things in life. I’ve been slapping myself in the face for not doing this sooner.

Screw the crock pot. Get a smoker, it will do everything a crock pot can, only better and with more options.

In spite of your immoderation, I'm all for a party. I will crock the hell out elk for the event! It was so good!!

So, we're gonna have a forum party. How about we have it this month at the archery shoot out at The LK. Center with Finn’s group? He is going to bring brats, and I'll contribute some elk burgers. It's on Saturday the 26th of June. I'm told they have the entire LeeKay center rented out.
