| Before the season even began, every Bama fan was concerned about this game. The fact that Spurrier is a great coach, Garcia is a great QB and they had 2 weeks to prepare against a Bama team that has had to play against 2 top 10 teams the prior 2 weeks made us all worry. The worst happened and it won't get any easier sine the next 5 games are against teams that have a bye week prior to their Bama games...and they are in the SEC, not the anemic MWC or WAC.

| Bama will still end up ahead of Utah at the end of the season and they still have a great shot at the NC game. Utah will lose to Air Force and TCU and would probably lose 5 in a row if every team they played had 2 weeks to prepare for them like Bama's opponents have. Enjoy your weak-sauce MWC games. | |

| Mark Ingram only had 41 rushing. So much for the Heisman Trophy winner. South Carolina shut him down easily. Where is Fatbass? | |

You always talk about weak sauce, but Bama won't ever schedule to play Boise ST, TCU or the Utes because they are afraid to get beat like they did at the sugar bowl.

| Alabama is still ranked ahead of utah. They play the toughest schedule in the country, not little girl MWC teams. Keep ignoring the facts, rolltroll. Bama's streak of 19 straight is something Utah will never see, especially now that they are going to a real conference next year. Enjoy your last year as a big fish in a small pond. The reality of being in a BCS conference is gonna hit the utes hard. | |

The Utes already have a better winning streak than Bama. I love it that the Utes are going to be in a bigger pond because that will mean more money for the programs. Better opportunities to recruit players and they can get an AQ bid every year. BTW Fatass, I love the video where Saban is talking after the game. His eyes are all puffed up like he's been crying a river. He looked almost as bad as he did when he dropped 42 f-bombs at the sugar bowl when Bama looked like a chocolate cupcake with little sprinkles on top.

| Utes winning streak is what? I remember 26-23 BYU so the utes winning streak is 7 games. Outstanding! Alabama is still a very young team but they have the talent and coaching to be in the MNC hunt at the end of the season. Utah does not. | |

As would ANY team FB!
Enjoy your weak-sauce MWC games. I'm kinda worried for Utah, when it comes to the TCU game, but MAN!! what a game that will be!

FB SLAMMED!! Slammed how? I had nothing to do with it. Mark Ingram is still the best RB in college football. The offensive line is all banged up and the defense dug themselves a hole in the first quarter by allowing 2 quick scores. When the young defense allows your team to get down 2 TDs in the first quarter, you simply can't afford to run the ball. This Bama defense has slid by all year and unless the offense gets up and puts points on the board quickly, the run game has to take a back seat to the pass. McElroy complete 80% of his passes for over 300 yards and 2 TDs, no picks but he was sacked 7 times, 5 of those he should have thrown the ball away. It was a complete beat-down by a strong, rested SC team and Bama's young team was baffled and missed a bunch of assignments. They will get better over time. Spurrier is a great coach with a national title under his belt and he is second in all-time wins after Bear Bryant. The SC fans were also a big factor but the biggest reason Alabama lost is simply that they are inexperienced. Now that the 19 game winning streak monkey is off their backs they can get down to working hard on winning out...and being in the mix for NC #14.

| Here is one reason that will show the voting/ranking system is a joke. How can Alabama still be ranked higher than South Carolina when SC beat the shit out of them on the field?
One more reason why college football needs a major overhaul. FB don't try to defend bama. South Carolina should be ranked ahead of them.

You're completely oblivious to "strength of schedule" so I won't waste our time going over it but the only poll that matters is the one that comes out the second week of January. SC would normally be ranked ahead of Bama but they already had a loss 2 weeks ago in Auburn.

| Fatbass it's laughable to say the least. It's like the Preseason rankings. No one should be ranked until Oct or November. | |

Don't give that strength of schedule bull shit FB, C'mon! Bama still has to play LSU and Auburn towards the end of the season, with a cupcake break in between. South Carolina has Arkansas and Florida back to back, without a cupcake break in between. Honestly, it surprises me that Bama is still ahead of South Carolina. Bama has played an extra game, and has an extra win, but conference wise, they both have the same record. I guess Bama's real test will be Auburn, or Auburn's real test will be Bama, whatever.
