This is the forum frequently asked questions section and will always be a work in progress.

Why create such a forum?

Several reason's have lead me to create this forum but the biggest is the over moderation and censorship on previous forums that I have visited has inspired to to create a forum solely about today's politics. Today's politics are more controversial than they ever have been and …

The Rules here are very simple

-No Attacking a person's race and/or religion
-No Personal Threats (this includes the politicians)
-Stay on Topic
-No links to porn sites and nudity
-Swearing is allowed but it has to be appropriate and NO F-bombs and other grossly vulgar words

As much as in pains me to write this but for some reason I see a Romney/Gingrich GOP ticket. Newt may be the McCain of 2012, I pray it won't happen, Newt is as phony baloney as they come, and Mitt well let's see what he flip flops on tomorrows topic.

Less than a year folks, Elections start 2nd week in January, so much can and will happen!

Let me clarify, I would never vote for Romney or Newt, it is just what I see happening because the media once again chooses the GOP candidate.

I have to agree with you here. In my opinion, the GOP nominees just arent of the caliber that I would hope for in a presidential race. I personally tend to lean toward the republican side of things, but I dont really seem to like Newt or Mit that much. I dont think they would do a bad job, but I really dont feel like they will do well either. If I were to bet, I think that Newt will get the GOP nomination just because he seems to have been more consistent than Mitt on mainstream issues (not that changing people's opinions is bad, but in politics it looks bad).

Suddenly Ron Paul looks like a diamond in the ruff compared to these guys! jk

The only republican candidate I can stomach is Huntsman. If Newt flares out like the rest of the 'not romney's' maybe Huntsman will get his bump at just the right time.

But I'm an Obama guy so I'm quite pleased with how things are going in the GOP.

Just curious, what is it about Obama and his policies you like? Since he has taken office the debt has increased at rampant rates, unemployment is HIGHER and not showing any signs of serious recovery, we are in more wars now than in 01/2009, the country is more divided than ever, the gap between the haves and have-nots is wider than ever. So, what am I missing?

The best we can hope for is a Romney / Huntsman ticket.. If, by some miracle they happen to win, we need to hope that Mitt just lets Huntsman
do the work.

I like Big Barry Obama because.

1. Osama Bin Laden is dead.
2. Gun laws are more liberal now than when W left town.
3. Troops are coming out of Iraq. Bush' quagmire.
4. Wolves are being managed by hunters.
5. My taxes are lower.
6. GM is giving employee's raises again.
7. Plundering the environment for a quick buck ain't happening.
8. He isn't a muslim
9. He stood up for AMERICAN SOCIETY via medicare, SS and Healthcare.
10. He has remained honorable trhoughout all of the GOP roadblocks and shenanigans.

Healthcare is better today than it was 3 years ago. For what I use healthcare for it is cheaper. You are right, if it was up to me these ponzi schemes would never have been implemented, and at the very least would be phased out. There is NO way on God's green earth that these programs can be sustained for much longer. The numbers don't lie, and they will have to be acknowledged and addressed at some point. I contend it would be better to deal with them now, rather than kicking them down the road for future generations to live with the aftermath. How is healthcare better today for you? What has Obama done that has made it better?
