Just one more example of what liberals are doing to our country. May God help us all.

Interesting, after hearing Santorum's rant about getting a degree I have to wonder what these students are looking for in their school of choice these days. The majority of schools now are quite open, or it is easy to find out what they teach or what is approved to be taught. So why are students choosing the more liberal leaning schools? They sure as hell are much more expensive, not sure of the correlation, just a personal observance. Also interesting is how atheists bitch and moan about religion being shoved down their throats, yet issues such as global warming, social programs, and liberal ideologies are being shoved down many of these students throats.

Probably because the liberal philosophy lessons start as early as grade school. As the professor poined out, most of his students get no balanced education prior to starting college.

I have a 14 year old son that attends a public junior high school here in Utah. His history teacher makes it very clear that he is a conservative and often makes demeaning comments about the current administration. My son comes home and talks to me about it all the time. Here is the kicker: I don't have a problem with it! I like that it forces my son to think and form his own opinions. I am a powerful influence in my sons life as are his teachers. I tell him to do his own research and not take what I or anyone else says as gospel.
Anyone who has raised their children to think for themselves should not worry about sending them off to college and have them be indoctrinated by evil liberal professors who have some conspiratorial agenda. This current attack on higher learning by some conservatives (who are themselves college educated) is not going to help them in the general election. Most parents want their kids to go to college and be successful, yet Santorum says the president is a 'snob' for encouraging them. What a strange way to attack someone.
If a parent is that concerned, they could always send their kid to Bob Jones or BYU.

+1 That's the kicker, many parents do not play a powerful roll in their children's lives, and so what is being taught in school is the only thing they are being taught.
The more Santorum opens his mouth the more of a fool he becomes, not a fan!

While I detest your political point of view, I sincerely applaud your taking an active interest in your sons life and education. Our country would be much better off if more would do so.

WOW Although I guess it shouldn't surprise me, my generation are all pretty lazy asses. The entitlement mentality just irritates me to no end. I applaud this professor for his work. This is what years and years of entitlment programs are finally bringing us and we are reaping the rewards. I also applaud ScottyP for encouraging his son to think for himself, that is hard to find today.
