Any Longhorn fans out there?

I'm glad things ended up like they did. I'd have hated to see the A&M rivalry go by the wayside.

I am a Texas hater. I think they are prima donna and I am glad the PAC-10 told them to shove it when Texas tried getting special treatment.

I love the horns (my youngest is named Austin). BTW its prima donna.

As for the rivalry, A&M still might end up in the SEC so its not over just yet.

A&M would have to be crazy to leave the Big 12 for the SEC. I for one am holding out hope that the Big 12 asks BYU to join.

If that senerio happened the MWC might as well combine with the WAC.......Gaining Boise State helped the MWC but if Utah goes to the Pac whatever the hell they are going to call it and BYU left then the MWC would have TCU and Boise State and bunch of sub conference teams left in it...... Ideally I would like to see Utah, BYU, TCU, and Boise State remain in the MWC.... The hell with the BCS and there money driven corrupt system... The MWC would just have some tough teams playing each other....

I hope your not holding you breath waiting for that invite, if A&M does bolt for the SEC, the big 12 has already made it clear they are going after Houston.

Why would they go after Houston, from a market stand point it doesn't make sense, they already have that TV market.

Who knows, why was there a huge stink about them taking baylor with them to the pac? They already have that market, plus baylor sucks, it didn't make sense either, but it was still being discussed at length.

I will agree that a lot of this back and forth hasn't made a lot of sense.

That was pretty funny. But seriously I hope that Utah will stay with the MWC and see what they can do with BSU. I think they would have a legit shot at a automatic bid if Utah stay put.
I do see though were Utah would want to go to the Pac? for money and already has a auto bid. And maybe for the next to years would have a good shot at it, no USC.
I still don't want the BYU/Utah rivalry to be over.

So, here are the pre-season rankings from a site I respect. Texas is #4, behind Ohio State, Florida and Alabama.
Any one of these teams could be #1 at the end of the season...and I'm flat-out STOKED!

I think BSU should be ranked as high as TCU or higher BSU will be playing VT so if they win then they should move up pretty high in the polls. BSU didn't lose a lot of players this year so they should be a pretty solid team again.
