| hi everyone,
i see the board is dead pretty much, but i was wondering how you republicans enjoyed the election, and the repudiation of all your crazy nutcase ideals, and the next great 20 years of democratic rule . .
and how the republicants have been exposed as batsh1t crazy, and the fact that the country is now solidly moving against everythign you believe in ???
how do you like it freaks?????????????????????????????

| First, welcome to the forum. I hope you are sincere and not merely a troll......
And yes, this site has been pretty dead as of late. Hopefully things will pick up.
I am NOT a republican, but I am amused by your assertions. I am also curious as to what makes you think democrats have all the answers? When we look at states and cities that have been ran by the democrats...in some instances for more than 50 years.....we see massive debt, massive unemployment, high crime rates, high murder rates, and high numbers of empty houses. Can you give specific examples of how/where democrats have made life better for the majority? | |

| progressives have championed:
the right of women to vote
social security
medicare, medicaid, and the affordable care act
voting rights act
reproductive rights for women
legal weed !
and the list goes on and on, progressives have consistenly been out front on all human rights issues . .
while the way backers just want to pray to jesus in school, beat their kids, and pay no taxes, and start useless wars

the right of women to vote
social security A ponzi scheme that is a major cause of the $16+ trillion debt.
medicare, medicaid, and the affordable care act See above.....
voting rights act Voting rights for whom? It certainly was NOT the democrats that pushed for blacks being able to vote!
reproductive rights for women What does that mean? Does this mean government funding for abortions? If so, then yes the democrats own that one.
legal weed ! Really? Is that why Obama has pledged to go after pot smokers in Colorado and Washington.......? Is that why raids on pot smokers/grows is up under the Obama regime? This is the libertarian's movement, not the progressive's!
and the list goes on and on, progressives have consistenly been out front on all human rights issues . . What are "human rights"? Are they different than natural rights such as being able to protect ones life, liberty, and property?
while the way backers just want to pray to jesus in school, beat their kids, and pay no taxes, and start useless wars Useless wars like Libya....?
