The BCS sent their invitation and the Utes have notified the MTN west. News conference scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.

| I'd love a rematch. Anytime, anywhere. Too bad the utes won't get a chance to play Alabama again. They'll be a 7-5 or 8-4 team forever and The Tide will be too busy playing for the Championship year in and year out. | |

That is a bold statement. TCU is still really good, BYU is always tough. I don't see them going undefeated this year.

| The Utes are a lot better this year. Cain and Wynn gained a lot of good experience last year.
BYU will be lucky to go 9-3 this year with their schedule.
Their defense and offense look good during practice this year.
Coach Whit wants more competition because he knows his Utes are up to the challenge. I heard it from his own mouth.

The utes lost some really key players on both sides of the ball. TCU lost very few, just keep that in mind and actually Boise I think is nearly the same team as last year, I know they won't be in the MWC this year, but they are going to be very good also.

Notice I said their offense and defense looks good this year? The little brother Kruger is an animal.

TCU will be a good team like they were last year, but they won't win on the UTES home turf.

That shit's easy. Alabama's going on their 3rd undefeated regular season in a row...in the best conference in the nation. Here's what I find funny...utah is a good team but any injuries expose their greatest weakness- depth. QB goes down and you lose 2 games. RB goes down and you lose 2 games. Alabama is neck deep in top quality at almost every position, that's why the loss of LB Donte Hightower (a sure all-American had he not gotten injured) didn't slow the Saban train down one bit on their 14-0 run for the NC last year. BTW...Donte's fully recovered and a scary badass but there are backups for him that won't miss a beat should he get injured again. I'll just leave this here:

| That big beast Cody saved them last year when he blocked the field goal to keep them from being defeated. They will miss him on the front line to save them again this year. | |

Cody was a unique player but we have no way of knowing if his backup would have done the same thing. The Bama defensive line is even better this year, overall.

| CS and FB, you guys should seriously make a Utah/Bama thread. I'd even be okay without moderating it, as long as it didn't get personal...... | |

Excuses, excuses. I don't believe Bama could have won the UTES if they came with their best game plan that year. The UTES were just so much better.

Well we both believe differently, but who cares. I do hope that in the near future Bama and the Utes cross paths again.
