I just love how these people use these kind of terms to try and manipulate peoples opinions. I have read over a good portion of AZ'S law and don't recall anything that specifically targeted latinos or hispanics. That legislation targets illegal immigrants without regard to race,color,creed,or country of origin. Not to mention the fact that the AZ law doesn't do much more than adopt existing federal law and asserts the states right to enforce it.
I didn't read all your links Berg but the libs are wanting to reinstate the fairness doctrine. This is nothing new. I became aware of it during Ws' first term. The libs by and large were convinced Bush only won because of the percieved domination of the airwaves by conservative commentators. It is fascist and an affront to the first amendment. I don't think it will gain any traction. It was enacted back when there were very few media outlets which isn't the case today. At the same time I wouldn't put anything past this administration or the sitting congress. November can't get here soon enough!!
