My Veterans Day Wish

Why create such a forum?

Several reason's have lead me to create this forum but the biggest is the over moderation and censorship on previous forums that I have visited has inspired to to create a forum solely about today's politics. Today's politics are more controversial than they ever have been and …

The Rules here are very simple

-No Attacking a person's race and/or religion
-No Personal Threats (this includes the politicians)
-Stay on Topic
-No links to porn sites and nudity
-Swearing is allowed but it has to be appropriate and NO F-bombs and other grossly vulgar words

-Don't be a douchebag

Most offensives will get a warning, however you may not even get a warning and you may be banned, …

Regardless of any past differences with any member of this forum, I would like to thank any and ALL military veteran members on this forum for their service and sincerely wish them a very special day today. This tired old retired vet is going to enjoy the day floating the Green River for some spawning Browns. My God bless all of our veterans today and every day of thier lives.

Dear inconsiderate, ungrateful and snotty-nosed anti-war zealots, today is a day to HONOR our Veterans and active military personnel. Perhaps you might put your selfish need for attention aside and realize that today is not about you. It is NOT an appropriate day to interject your political views onto the facebook walls of those whom have chosen to show their sincere gratitude to those who have sacrificed and are sacrificing to preserve OUR freedom. Just because you CAN voice your opinion (and you have a soldier to than for that) regarding everything from war to your opposition to the use of toilet paper, it doesn't mean you should. For one day only, a mere 24 hours, just shut-up and let those of us who are grateful for freedom and the high price which others have paid for it show our gratitude without your inappropriate comments to detract from the spirit of Veterans Day .
