| Alabama has a tough schedule ahead of them. I don't know why, but I feel like South Carolina will deliver Bama first loss of the season. They will have two weeks to prepare for this homer game also.
Penn St and Arkansas will be tough games also.

| Bama has the 3 best RBs in the country and a snowplow OL...and McElroy is settling in as a great passer. The defense is young but so fast, athletic and smart I don't see anyone beating them this year, although Florida and Arky will test them. Even the kicking team looks pretty good so far. There is only one unknown...when will the injury fairy visit? BSU and VT tonight! If BSU gets beat I think they are out of the running for a BCS championship. | |

| BSU pulled out the win. The bast case scenario for Bama would be for BSU to go undefeated and present themselves as contenders in the BCS Championship game. I'm salivating at the thought. | |

| Bama also needs to go undefeated this year which I don't believe they will. BSU would have spanked Bama like the Utes did if we had a real playoff where the real champs is decided instead of the figure skating voting championship. | |

| If BSU goes undefeated it's because with their schedule, about 40 other teams would do so as well. They play 10 cupcakes and 2 mediocre teams this year and you think they have a right to play for a championship? Alabama will be playing 6 of their conference games against opponents coming off of bye weeks and Boise State only wins their "big" games after they've had at least 2 weeks of rest. No way in hell would BSU survive the pounding that Bama will have to take to get to the BCS CG again. The odds of Alabama going undefeated are truly astronomical but not so much for BSU, but only because BSU plays a string of West Popcorn States, not Florida, Auburn and LSU. If Bama has a loss, their strength of schedule should still send them to a higher bowl than BSU.
Having said that, I sincerely hope that BSU and Bama meet in the CG although every other team in the country better have at least 2 losses or BSU doesn't belong.

| After watching last week's LSU game and catching Auburn highlights, I'd say that Auburn will be a tougher challenge for Bama than LSU. | |

You're probably right but the "why" is most interesting! Les Miles is a certifiable idiot! He's got boatloads of talented athletes but has no clue how to use them and his clock management skills are non-existent. Auburn has a scary offense but their defense is a joke. That's all I'll say about that.

Really? I take this back, you could be right CS. Lattimore is a stud, and they played well against Georgia.
