You've supplied a link to blatant propaganda that has no pretense of being objective. It reminds me of the manipulative, shallow and incredibly one-sided Soviet and Third Reich propaganda from decades past — cherry pick statements from foes that reinforce the propagandist's objectives then juxtapose them with images designed to arouse emotions.

Whatever legitimate message is in that clip gets lost in the inflammatory and alienating hyperbole. It's loony, over-the-top nonsense like this that is pushing the majority of the country into the arms of liberal Democrats. Conservative-moderate Republicans could have taken control of both houses of Congress in the coming election, but the wingnut end of the Republican Party has done all it can to thrust candidates into the general election that have little chance of winning and who make Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi look reasonable by comparison.

The majority of the country is not being pushed into the arms of liberal dems! I see a country waking up to the realization that socialism is too expensive and counter-productive and the electorate is getting ready to purge Washington of these Marxists.
55 house seats and 15 senate seats are likely to change hands this election. And the majority of the repubs taking new office actually believe the constitution, AS WRITTEN, is still a valid document.

Notwithstanding, he does deserve credit for getting some responses on the forum, and I'm thankful for his efforts to liven things up around here. I have decided not to send thegutswat team to raid his compound and confiscate All of his fine French wine. Nope, not gonna do it. The black chopper is grounded for the time being. Really? That is of course assuming that the his party of choice is actually governing, when a large portion of America would tell you it's not.

I also think it's great that a common Democrat talking point to fall back on, is how evil Republicans are gonna get rid of social security. Do you find it ironic that the majority of the country feels the same way. There are less and less people happy with the way things are going and that is why you are going to see change in the November election, the people will be heard.

I replied to your thread about this and never got a reply.

This seeming conundrum of Tea Partiers wanting no new entitlements while still wanting their Social Security checks is entirely explainable and defensible. WE, the Tea Partiers PAID into a forced "trust" and just want what is ours. We also want to wean the public off the teat of government since WE Tea Partiers aren't willing to pay one more dime in taxes nor do we trust the government with our money any more.
