It's asinine that we as citizens of the US would bargain down to a 38 Billion dollar budget cut, when we borrow 41 Billion a week. We don't have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem. It's sad that so many believe something different.
Michael Moore is sadly mistaken on a lot of topics, and I can't really say what I think about him here. And yes, I have watched most of his filth, just because his propaganda amuses me.

As we try to understand how we got where we are and how decisions are made in Washington, we have to follow the money. Money plays a major part in Government decisions. The industry of free enterprise. Now step back 10 yrs and visit with Jose and Alfonso Fanuul, CEO of the Florida Crystals Corp, and why they have been big contributors in the sum of $500.000 donations to both the Democratic and the Republican electoral parties. They were the single highest contributors to both parties. They had it covered either way. And a promise from our Government that if you help take care of us, we will take care of you. Florida Crystals Corp. (sugar) has become the most profitable corporation in the US, holding 2nd to the Government regulated tobacco industry. The US Government made an exemption to imigration laws for foreign workers to be imported on a special visa to cut sugar cane for 3rd world wages. This has made the Fanuul family extraordinarily rich. For every lb of sugar the Florida Crystals Corp. grows in the everglades, the US Government has gauranteed a price of 22 cents a lb. Way above the world price of 7 cents a lb. If there is too much sugar produced by Forida Crystals, the government will purchase any overage at the gauranteed price. The Fanuul family makes over hundreds of millions of dollars annually because of a government funded program. They are subsidising the Fanuuls' when in fact they are hurting the American people who are buying products with sugar in it.

I’ve just finished watching all eight sections of “The One Percent” documentary. James Johnson and Micheal Moore are cut from the same bolt of cloth. If you think MM’s films are full of truth and depict the true American Way of Life, then you’re probably going to find Johnson’s film refreshing. I personally thought it was bovine excrement of the highest odor.
The only person interviewed by Johnson that had a full grasp of the subject at hand was Milton Freidman. Johnson certainly did not. His guilt complex over being born into money is clearly evident throughout his film.
Here’s just ONE example of his incompetence and one-sided view of the real world. He puts the blame for the tragic aftermath of Hurricane Katrina SQUARLY on the shoulders of Bush and the Federal Government. There was not one mention of the two dipshits immediately in charge of damage assessment and recovery; Governor Kathleen Blanco and Mayor Ray Nagin. There are many more examples in the film and you’ll see them if you care to take the 75 minutes or so to watch the whole thing. But doing so is a complete waste of time if your political leanings are conservative in the least.
