Cain denies report of sexual harassment

WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain planned to make several scheduled appearances in Washington on Monday following a report that alleges he was twice accused of sexual harassment while he was the head of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s.

In a statement Sunday to The Associated Press, his campaign disputed the Politico report that said Cain had been accused of sexually suggestive behavior toward at least two female employees.

The report said the women signed agreements with the restaurant group that gave them five-figure financial payouts to leave the association and barred them from discussing their departures. Neither woman was identified.



kind of a headline grabber, although hes not really a serious candidate for the presidency anyways . .

Yup entertaining, do people ever care about this stuff anymore? We have been pretty desensitized by these sorts of stories of politicians whether they be true or false.

well he had a non-denial denial, told about 5 versions yesterday, sang a spiritual for the sky pilots out there, and really looked bad . . .this is gonna blow up . .

I'm not a Cain supporter and I doubt that he will be the Republican nominee. On the other hand, it's been about a week now since you made your prediction about his campaign being over in a week. I just looked it up on Real Clear Politics's listing of all the major polls, and his support has dropped some, but he's still neck and neck with Romney. My best guess is that he'll continue to drop in the polls, but at this point, he's still a more serious contender than Huntsman, Santorum, Bachmann or Paul.
