Why create such a forum?

Several reason's have lead me to create this forum but the biggest is the over moderation and censorship on previous forums that I have visited has inspired to to create a forum solely about today's politics. Today's politics are more controversial than they ever have been and …

The Rules here are very simple

-No Attacking a person's race and/or religion
-No Personal Threats (this includes the politicians)
-Stay on Topic
-No links to porn sites and nudity
-Swearing is allowed but it has to be appropriate and NO F-bombs and other grossly vulgar words

-Don't be a douchebag

I don't know why you can't see my dot. It shows up well on my monitor. It is in the conservative box right next to the libertarian border and just outside the centrist border.

You’re not in the least confused. Pissed off or disappointed that others don’t share your point of view maybe, but not confused. And I’ll support and vote for whomever comes closest to representing my political point of view – AND – who I believe can beat Obama. I’m not looking for a perfect match because that ain’t gonna happen. Anybody who thinks there is a perfect match doesn’t have a firm grasp on reality.

NO, this was not directed at you, just a general blanket statement. I am disappointed that there is not a single candidate that I feel good about voting for. The candidates are fighting each other when the need to be on the constant attack of our current Pres. This infighting happening with Pro to Dubob is prime example, Paul is a freak, and a hypocrite, and the other candidates remind me of Bush-lite. The tea party movement went nowhere and had had ZERO effect on the presidential candidates amd I agree with VOR drunken

that we will have 4 more years of extremism because the GOP are acting like kindergarten kids. So this argument of who is more conservative or libertarian is for naught, the issues run deep, yet let's compare penis sizes. Right now we need unity, the thing we need most seems to be on the lowest of everyone's priority list, thus shooting ourselves in the foot.

Not looking, nor expecting, a 'perfect' match, just DEMANDING a candidate who actually adheres to the Constitution and to individual liberty. Anything short of that will NOT get my vote.
