Just checking, I thought Armageddon was upon us for a second.

I don't like that woman.

She reduces every argument down to a strident portrayal of borderline nutty viewpoints (that she always labels as representing the liberal mainstream) versus everything good and decent. She paints everything with a broad brush, ignores the subtleties in most every argument and seems to have no desire at all to look at anything objectively or to actually understand the reasons that some people don't see the world as she does.

Instead, she seems mostly interested in polarizing every argument with one-sided, emotional rhetoric designed to gut the honest middle ground and inflame passions by tapping into the fears and concerns of her followers. She's far too intelligent to fully buy into her own simplistic, divisive, dumbed-down rhetoric, so, to me, her rants come across as disgustingly manipulative and disingenuous demagoguery combined with just enough sexuality to guarantee an audience. It seems that she's found a gig that's launched her to stardom, and she's playing it for all it's worth — whether it's a honest assessment of reality or not.

I'm in basic agreement with many of the things she claims to be concerned about, but I'd never count her as a good, fair or, even, honest spokesperson for those concerns.

Ann Coulter.... I heard she was arrested recently for prostitution, prescription drug
sales and molesting a Jr. high Student with Michelle Bachman.....

I think she is very intelligent. See what she has done. It doesn't matter if you like her or hate her you are talking about her she has positioned herself at the forefront of American Politics. This brings higher fees for speaking engagements and her books even people that hate her will buy her books to see what kind of outlandish and absurd claim or accusation she is making. I liken her to Howard Stern just a shock jock she just has applied it to a different genre.
