| Probably one of the few times I am serious around here would be about now!! This ain't good but we must give the wolf management plan a chance to work. Utah isn't in the recovery area and the animals that make it here have been dealt with pretty damn well so far.

| I am going by memory here so don't quote me, but any wolf north of I-80 must be relocated if trapped and can be filled full of lead if harrassing wildlife by a rancher or a ranchers agent. No need to wait on the Feds.
I need to review the plan again before I put my foot in my mouth

| Good link CS.
I'll keep this short. I adhere to L2FNH's post regarding the SSS game plan. I don't want to see any wolves in Utah, as they will only cause big problems for everyone.

| I actually ran my own blog page on this topic when the legislature here in Utah was considering the so-called Wolf Management Bill - the one they had to rework to take the words: kill all wolves out of the legislation. Even rewritten, it was poorly done and rushed through. I actually talked to folks on the phone about this bill: people from the paper, people from Utah DWR -- and they said the word management in the revised version of the passed bill is interpreted as KILL from all sides .. http://thelovelyjennifer.blogspot.com/2010/04/exterminate-all-of-wolves-in-utah.html is the link to my blog artickle from April of this year. I included a map to show where the delisted wolves would be hunted down and killed if spotted: an area virtually free of roads and population, so anyone getting in and finding a wolf that was perhaps spotted by someone and reported a couple days later would be next to impossible, and the bill as written said there would be no fiscal impact with the implementation and enforcement of this bill --- yeah, right. | |
