I just don't think it is wise to shelter our children, to be well educated on a subject you need to see all sides of an issue.
Which is why I asked if they should listen to Hugo or Imanutjob or Ill. After all, you are saying we 'need' to see ALL sides of an issue.....so why not the sides presented by these folks? scratch

It is frustrating arguing with you because you can't stay on subject for more than three seconds. Laughing He is talking to the students about school. He is OUR President of the United States of America. No I don't think Hugo should speak to the children in the schools in America, but you are comparing Apples to Oranges, but I am sure you will be able to spin this somehow also, you are the Spin Doctor. Razz I think if a parent should on their own time talk about Hugo and people like him.

I am right on topic, it is YOU that wants to limit the topic to Obama "just talking about education" and trying to SPIN it as nothing more, when EVERY time Obama speaks he is spewing propaganda. If you want to put the blinders on and think this will be an innocent pep rally go for it, I for one will NOT. Obama is of the same ilk as Hugo, so it isn't changing topics to include them in the discussion. If Obama doesn't mention collectivism in any way, mention how the citizens need to give service to the GOVERNMENT (different than service to your neighbors/nation), or how great he his and how horrible his predecessor was, I will apologize to you and Obama. But, if he does ANY of those things I expect an apology from you, Mr. Yoda!

I firmly believe that ANY President – regardless of party affiliation – never gives a speech that isn’t politically motivated.

Didn't Bush and other Presidents give similar speeches?
Probably (but I can't say for sure) - and I would have been against those as well.
