I have no problem with someone taking assistance to get them back on their feet, very temporarily. I have a problem with 4th generation welfare families, I have a problem with people staying on unemployment because they make more on unemployment than they could make finding a job, I have a problem with people who pay for groceries or goods with food stamps, but have designer jeans, a new smart phone and a fancy jewelry. I think if you take government assistance, you should not get a tax return. But after saying all of that, I have no problem with someone who falls on tough time taking food stamps for a couple months until they can get their feet back under them and I believe that was the original intent of a lot of these programs.
