He is RIGHT! How can Timmy claim to be against stimulus packages when he has built his personal wealth on them?

Absolutely NOT. I didn't mean it in that context. But one party monopoly in just about everything usually doesn't end well.

Talk about taking a wide swath, damn wiley. Lee is saying that for Bridgewater to claim to be against such bailouts, which in the long run DO hurt Utah, is inconsistent and misleading.

You are right I wouldn't vote for either of these men. At Least Bob Bennett tried to do his job. At least he did more than vote no on every item that came from the left.

Angry...yes I'm sick of getting screwed by every level of government every and this reason guy is trying to convince us how ignorant we are for thinking that adherence to the constitution is a good thing. I'm not angry all day long, but when talking about it I tend not to restrain my opinion.

I am upset with the government for the following reasons (but not limited to) :

I get a monthly bill for police services not covered by my regular taxes, all because we refuse to BUDGET and cut non essential services.

I have to pay a $200 transfer tax to buy a firearm, why because someone decided that barrels under 16" were far too dangerous to own.

The property taxes on my house increased 16% even thought the appraised value dropped by nearly twice that, AND the appeal for adjustment was denied.

I pay a little over $800 per month in health care costs because various federal and state entities have failed to do their job or in some cases done things they have no right to do.

The family estate paid a little over 1.6 million dollars this year in inheritance taxes, now mind you this is money that had taxes paid on it when it was made, was taxed for any interest that it made while invested and capital gains were also assessed. HTF can you ever say that inheritance should be taxed.

Is that enough?

You must have missed the memo Hyperduc.... Government officials know how to spend your money better than you do. Now just do the patriotic thing.... endorse your paycheck and mail it to the IRS and Uncle Osama Bin Obama will give you everything you need.( I am being sarcastic and facetious please don't confuse me for a lib.) Inflation IS a tax, and it is a tax borne mostly by the middle/lower classes. Do you care to take a guess on the rate of inflation that has resulted as a direct result of Obama's spending and bailouts? You have less purchasing power today that you did January 19th 2009, the day your messiah took office. Less purchasing power means less freedom to spend your money on what you wish. Now that Obamacare is starting to kick in, and the ripple effects of it are starting to be seen, the HUGE cost increases in individual health care thanks to government usurpation is beginning to become more clear. Ask plottrunner what Obamacare is going to do to his business. I heard onthe radio this morning that somewhere between 51-60% of ALL individual health insurance plans will be to expensive within the first year, causing them to be dropped. This will lead to massive numbers of people being FORCED to get government insurance. How can any sane person say that any mandate that forces an individual to purchase ANY product from another anything but tyranny?
